The project involves mechanical modeling, muscle activation analysis, and integrating sensor subsystems to map the recovery process. In collaboration with the Farcas Lab at St. Michael's Hospital, designing an instant on-device red blood cell detection for microhematuria, a condition where blood is present in urine. We are designing computer vision pipelines to count red blood cells, integrating custom electronics, and prototyping a microscope with fluidics control.
